GRI is recognized nationwide as the standard for real estate professionalism and knowledge.
   
* Accredited Buyer Representative Designation (ABR): The ABR designation is conferred by the Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors. Designees must attend 24 hours of live course instruction, pass the written examination on legal and practical aspects of agency representation and successfully complete 25 transactions as a buyer’s representative. ABR is considered the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.
   
* Certified Residential Specialist Designation (CRS): The CRS designation is conferred by the Council of Residential Specialists and is the highest professional designation awarded to realtors in the residential sales field. Less than 4% of all realtors hold the CRS designation. Designees must attend 64 hours of live course instruction and have an average of $5 million in sales per year within any 5 year period.
   
* Master of Real Estate Designation (MRE): The MRE designation is conferred by the Colorado Association of Realtors and provides advanced training in critical skills of the real estate business. Designees must have earned the GRI designation or have 10 years active experience as a realtor and successfully complete 96 hours of live course instruction. MRE signifies a broker dedicated to professional development.
