2.8% of the listing fee
is paid to the cooperating brokerage company (the
agent who represents the Buyer). Example: If the
listing fee is 5% then 2.2% of the purchase price
is paid to Emerson Real Estate and 2.8% of the
purchase price is paid to the cooperating company.
These fees are taken from the proceeds of the
transaction and appear as a debit to the Seller
at the time of closing. |
